Overview
GPU trays and other components often come slightly loose during transit
Here is a step by step and video to reseat the tray
Affected Systems:
ASRock 6U8X-TURIN2 SYN H200
Symptoms
- GPU falling off the Bus
- GPU missing or not detected via nvidia-smi or lspci

Step-by-step Instructions
Step 1: Verify GPUs
- Verify and note which GPUs are detected
nvidia-smi --query-gpu=index,bus_id,serial --format=csvStep 2: Power Down System
- Power down and unplug power cable from system
Step 3: Re-seating GPU tray
- Unscrew both sides
- Pull out Bottom Tray
- Reinsert Tray
- Screw to secure
Step 3: Re-verify GPUs
- Plug in power cable and power up system
- Verify if all GPU are detected
nvidia-smi --query-gpu=index,bus_id,serial --format=csv
Prevention Tips
- Remember to always power down the system and ground yourself to prevent electrical issues
- Components tend to be loose during transit, re-seat helps secure connection
