Armoury Crate Installation Prerequisites

Confirm the following requirements are met before installing Armoury Crate …

1. Operating System must be Windows 10 RS3 or later

Armoury Crate is only supported on Windows 10 RS3 or later.

Ensure that the Windows operating system is updated to Windows 10 RS3 or later before installing Armoury Crate .

2. Uninstall Aura Application

If the Aura application is already installed on the system, uninstall it before installing or updating Armoury Crate.

Ensure the Aura application is not already installed on your device.

3. Connect to the Internet

A stable network connection to the Internet is required.

Ensure that the system network connection is stable before initiating the Armoury Crate installation.

Follow these steps to install Armoury Crate …

1. Armoury Crate BIOS Option

Upon first bootup after Armoury Crate installation, the operating system will prompt to automatically download and execute the Armoury Crate installer.

The automatic download and install prompt will only appear on ASUS system boards with the Armoury Crate BIOS

option enabled in BIOS before bootup.

2. Automatic Download and Installation Prompt Failure

( optional ) If the download and installation prompt does not appear, or if it was canceled ,

or a non-ASUS system board is in use; manually install Armoury Crate.

Download the Armoury Crate installer ( SetupROGLSLService.exe ) from https://www.asus.

3. Installation Launch

( optional ) Once the installer downloads, launch the installer to begin the installation process.

Ensure that all previous instances of Armoury Crate are completely removed before running

the installer.

4. Installation Completion

Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

5. Armoury Crate Update

Update Armoury Crate immediately once Armoury Crate application is launched.

1. Armoury Previous Crate Versions

Uninstall any previous version of Armoury Crate ( VI .4.1 or v2.1.9 ) .

All previous instances of Armoury Crate must be completely removed.

2. Manual Download

Download the Armoury Crate installer  ( SetupROGLSLService.exe ) from https://www.asus.

3. Manual Installation

Launch Armoury Crate installer.

4. Installation Completion

Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

5. Armoury Crate Update

Update Armoury Crate immediately once the application is launched.
