We are aware that some ASRock systems have been reporting AER (Advanced Error Reporting) correctable errors. Based on our investigation, these errors appear to stem from software compatibility issues and do not impact system hardware or overall functionality.
What Customers May Experience:
During heavy workloads,
dmesglogs may display correctable hardware errors. In cases of high error volume, these logs can overflow into the console, which may be distracting or disruptive, but they remain non-critical.
Temporary Solution:
To minimize the impact, we have temporarily capped the AER function in the BIOS. While this prevents the excessive logging, it may also limit certain diagnostic capabilities until a permanent fix is in place.
Next Steps:
We are actively working with the manufacturer to release a new BIOS update that will permanently resolve this issue. Once the updated BIOS is available, we will notify you and provide download links along with installation instructions.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward a long-term solution.
