Document Scope

This article will briefly describe and show how to properly utilize Instapak shipping foam to ensure your system components are protected inside of your system when shipping it back to us for a System RMA. If you need them from Exxact, we can provide them if requested in your RMA ticket.

Step 1: Remove system panel/lid

This will allow you access to the Graphics Card(s) (GPUs), but keep it nearby so you can quickly access it

Step 2: Open the Instapak packaging

Ignore the printed video link- view our quick demonstration video below instead!

Step 3: Unfold bag completely on a hard surface near the system

Step 4: Press down on “A” until it *POPs*

Step 5: Pat back and forth from “A” to “B” quickly, and then place in box over the GPU’s before the second *POP* (see video demonstration)

Step 6: Place the system panel/lid back on the system

Let the Instapak expand over the GPU’s and hold for ~1 minute or until it fully expands (The lid in the video is a magnetic lid. Make sure it does not expand large enough to push the magnetic lid out)

Step 7: Let it rest for ~5 minutes
