How to Remove Chassis Panels for Valence Workstation

Step 1: Remove Window Panel

Removing window panel will allow access to the following components:

  • Motherboard

    • Jumper pins - Under 4th (bottom-most) graphics card, might have adapter or extension covering them.

    • CMOS battery - Possibly under graphics card(s), differs per motherboard model.

  • CPU/Processor

  • Memory DIMMs

  • Graphics Cards

  • M.2 Devices

    • Installed directly on motherboard, but possibly underneath graphics cards and cover.

  • 2 SATA Bay Slots/Drives

    • Sits at the bottom of chassis.

 

Step 2: Remove Windowless Panel

Removing windowless panel will allow access to the following components:

  • Power Supply

  • 4x 2.5” Drive Bay Cages

  • (If installed) 5.25” Optical (Disc) Drive

  • (If available) Front 5.25” Drive Bay Enclosure

  • Cable Management

    • Power cables that connect to motherboard and graphics card(s) on the other side.

    • Motherboard power cables are organized and routed from the power supply here.

 

Step 3: Remove Top Panel 

Removing top panel will allow access to the following components:

  • (If installed) CPU Cooler Radiator

  • Top Chassis Fans

  • Unlocks Front Chassis Panel to Clean Chassis Grill (not shown)
