How to Remote Install EMLI Stack

Document Scope

The following instructions are for any customers looking to remote install Exxact's EMLI Software:

Note: The script requires an exx user and should be ran from the exx user directory

Step 1: Verify that user must be Root (administrator).

Step 2: Download the Exxact Support Tool Kit by running the following command:

wget https://exxact-disk-images.s3.us-west-1.amazonaws.com/EMLI+Installation/exxactSupportTool-1.7.tgz

Step 3: Extract the toolkit by running the following command:

tar -xvf exxactSupportTool-1.7.tgz

Step 4: Change to the ExxactSupportTool/EMLI-INSTALL directory

cd ExxactSupportTool/EMLI-INSTALL

Step 5: Read the Install Instructions in the 00-EMLI-README file

cat 00-EMLI-README

The instructions will include a number of steps that must be completed in order to ensure a successful install.

Step 6: Run the following scripts/commands to perform the install

./exx-uninstall-driver.sh
./exx-emli-preinstall.sh
reboot
./exx-nvidia-driver.sh
./exx-emli.sh
reboot
